Bank it. Or bust.
Every hole feeds the pot. Two bad holes and it’s gone.
Every hole pays.
Your best two net scores on each hole go into the pot as chips.
Net, off 85% of handicap, so the 27 and the 8 both put chips in. A good hole is worth five or six.
Two bad holes. Bust.
A hole where fewer than two of you make net par is a strike.
- One strike: a warning. The pot keeps growing.
- Two in a stretch: bust. The whole pot is gone, that hole’s chips and all.
- Then: a fresh pot from zero, and the strikes start again.
Bank it or ride it.
After your 6th and 12th holes, the captain makes the call on the team’s phone.
- Bank: the pot is safe for good. A fresh one starts.
- Ride: the pot grows by half on the spot, and stays at risk.
- No call by the first score on the next hole: it banks.
Everything on the last six.
At the last checkpoint there’s a third call: put the bank back in the pot and double the lot.
Get home and it’s yours. One strike in the last six and it’s all gone.
Nobody knows who’s up.
Your phone shows your own chips and your own calls. That’s all.
Only a bust gets out. It flashes up on the clubhouse TV as it happens, never what it cost.
All on one number.
Twice a round, put everything you have on one hole, at its posted odds.
- Two net birdies: it pays. One: a wash. None: it’s all gone.
- The odds are yours: the more strokes your four get on a hole, the shorter the price. Every hole is as fair a bet as any other.
- Both on one hole: all on one number, at twice the odds. The comeback play.
- No second guessing: call it on the hole before. It locks as that hole’s last score goes in.
Play the Aces’ round.
The cards are in. You make the two calls, and the real Bank or Bust engine plays it out. The Sharks finished on 70. Can you beat them?
